Research Analyst - Kentucky

The Kentucky Legislative Research Commission, a nonpartisan research unit for the Kentucky General Assembly, is accepting applications for a Research Analyst to work in an office that conducts program evaluations and public policy-related research. Primary duties are planning research projects, compiling and analyzing data, writing reports and other documents, and presenting research findings to legislative committees.

At minimum, applicants should have a graduate degree in an education, social science, or business-related field. Candidates should be able to conduct applied quantitative research; have strong communication skills; and be proficient with spreadsheet, database, and statistical software. Applicants with practical experience are preferred. Some in-state travel may be required.
